First stop will be the Alexander Hamilton Museum the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton in 1757. Hamilton lived on the island until the age of nine. Later in his life he helped draft the U.S. Constitution and was the first secretary of the Treasury. He was an outspoken advocate of the emancipation of slavery. The building today, known as Hamilton House, houses one of the island’s two museums on the first floor. The second floor is the meeting room for the Nevis House of Assembly.
Quite a few of our guest want to go to the beach after the tour so we throw the beach in for no additional cost and yes we take you back to the ship from the beach, your tour is not completed until you return safely to your ship/resort.
We meet at the dock at Port Zante “Welcome Hall”. As you get off the ship you will walk right into us. We will have a sign that marks Island Paradise Tours.
Look for our representatives at the Dock Arrival Hall; they will be holding a sign saying “Island Paradise Tours. Welcome to St. Kitts”.
Island Paradise Tours have two air-conditioned Coaster buses and three (3) mini air-conditioned buses that can hold up to 25 and 14 passengers respectively.
Rosevelt is not able to conduct all the tours by himself, especially during high season. However, we have other well trusted tour guides who conduct your St. Kitts tour if Rosevelt is unable to do so.
Yes, you get back to your ship on time, with plenty of time to spare. We have never had an issue where our guest has missed their ship. We don’t intend to start either.
There are approximately four bathroom stops during our St. Kitts tours.
Yes, we are ale to accommodate the physically challenged individuals. Once the person can be removed from the wheelchair to be placed into the van, there is no problem. Our tour representative will take special care of this person.
Our tour is designed to last three and a half hours and sometimes goes up to four hours. The cost of the tour is $57 USD per adult and $37 for kids 12 years and under.
Yes, we offer complimentary bottled water on our tours. During the tour, our stops will have plenty of food outlets where you can grab a quick snack. We stop at Friars Bay Beach, where there is a nice restaurant and you can sit back and relax and have a nice lunch.
Our tour starts one hour after your ship docks. However we ask that you meet with us a half hour after your ship docks so that we can get all the administrative affairs out of the way first.
Yes, our tours are available year-round. They are available to cruise ship passengers and even those who are staying at hotels.
